Hipbone Art Studio is offering a FREE pop-up workshop for teens 12 to 17. Our team will be helping students learn basic approaches and techniques for drawing portraits from a live model!
Our workshop will start with warm ups to get comfortable working with charcoal. Then we will start to go over proportions of the human head and make skull drawings. Following our first presentation our teachers will demonstrate how to approach drawing a portrait from life while working with a costumed model. Students will get to work on their own drawings by working from the model as the reference. Our teachers will provide individual guidance to support students and help in solving any struggles that arise while drawing.
All art materials, snacks and beverages will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to get to know our studio and work with our teachers and fellow art students.
